Those familiar with me should know that since 2021, I switched from an Android large-screen phone to an iPhone SE2 small-screen phone (main device), and then in May 2023, I upgraded to a modified SE2 with dual batteries for better battery life. By April 2024, I felt the itch to upgrade to the SE3, even though the appearance hardly changed, it seemed like only the A13 CPU was replaced with an A15, and it also added 5G support.
So, I started browsing Xianyu (a second-hand marketplace app) every day and saw someone had changed the front panel to white, making the whole device look much better in white. I also remembered that the battery life of the previous SE2 with a single battery was not great, so I thought about whether I should also get a dual battery modification. However, I couldn't find any individual sellers meeting these two conditions on Xianyu, so I ended up finding a seller from Shenzhen who had already modified the device to white. He also allowed me to purchase the dual battery from Taobao and have it shipped to him, after which he would modify it for me for free and then ship it back to me.

After receiving it, as shown in the images above, it looks really nice. The dual battery sacrifices a bit of the hand feel, but I think better battery life is more important. I spent a few hundred more for this white color and dual battery. If it weren't for these fancy needs, the second-hand price of the SE3 would still be quite attractive.
The LCD screen is really comfortable, especially at night, I can clearly feel the difference when using the phone. However, I feel like the brightness outdoors is not as good as OLED, and it is said that the color is not as good as OLED, but there's no need to worry about screen burn-in 😄.
Compared to the SE2, my immediate feeling is that there is no difference in daily use. Since the 5G signal is not very good in my area, I didn't even turn on 5G. I only play the game "Yuan Meng Zhi Xing" (元梦之星), and the SE3 does load faster and doesn't lag as much as the SE2. Surprisingly, the most noticeable difference is the heat dissipation. The SE3 has much better heat control compared to the SE2 (both have dual batteries installed, using the same battery brand, but the battery factor cannot be ruled out).
